Environmental Sustainability Policy

The recently developed new environment policy and procedure was approved by the SLNC board of directors and can be found here.

Latest Committee Plans

The ESC prepares an annual plan outlining key tasks to be achieved over the upcoming year.  The latest plan is available here.

Recent Achievements

In 2023, the ESC reviewed SLNC’s operations to collect a complete understanding on resource consumption and sources of emissions from regular operations.  Based on this review, the ESC prepared an initial benchmark report that, for the very first time, estimated total emissions from operations.  This initial benchmark report is available here and is believed to be a first-of-a-kind report.

Once an understanding of sources of emissions was established, the ESC prepared a list of short, medium, and long-term projects that could be pursued to systematically reduce and eliminate emissions.  This project list, available here is routinely reviewed and updated.
