Ski Wax Services at Sovereign Lake
Do you want great glide and efficient grip on your skis? Did you notice that the temperature is changing over the next few days and now your skis need a new wax?
Come see us at our rental shop and we can help out!
What should I know before dropping off my skis?
- SLNC provides overnight waxing services if skis arrive dry to lodge before 2pm. Skis will be ready for pick up by 10am the next day.
- Skis must be dry before they can be wax serviced.
- SLNC is not equipped to provide services such as binding plate repairs, skin replacements, or major ski base repairs. We highly recommend visiting Stussi Sport in Vernon – they provide amazing ski repair services!

| Basic hot wax – for glide zones | $20.00 |
| Base clean – for classic grip zones | $10.00 |
| Base binder & base prep – for waxable classics | $25.00 |

Child Carriers
Want to introduce your little one to the cross country skiing?
Try our ski-equipped Thule Child Carriers – also referred to as ‘pulks’. Each carrier can fit a single child, and come in sizes suitable for infants or toddlers. The adult skier attaches the waist belt and can ski either classic or skate to pull the carrier along.
Single Child Carrier Rental Rates – 2025/26 Season:
| Rental hours | Rates |
| Half-day Rental (2 hours) | $25.00 |
| Full-Day Rental (over 2 hours) | $50.00 |
How do I book or rent a pulk/carrier?
Call the Lodge at 250-558-3036 to book the child carrier. Provide your name, contact number, pickup time, and child sizing.
Child carriers are first come, first served if not already booked in advance.
Please note: child carrier rentals are only permitted on Sovereign Lake trails. Carriers are built for ski trails and cannot be brought on to snowshoe trails.
