We are doing a virtual SnowFun50 this year and the rules are quite simple.  Just ski the SnowFun50 course on any one day from now until March 28 and you will earn a finisher medal!

There are no fees or registration required, no aid stations, no on-course maps, no free beer at the pub ☹ and you are on your own to plan, support yourself and complete the course.  As it is a point-to-point ski from Sovereign to Silverstar, you will also have to work out your own logistics for where you park and where to leave your post-ski change of clothes.

See the course map below. To get instructions on how to pick up your medal, submit your Trailforks/Strava/Garmin track to [email protected].  We only have 40 special 2020 Canadian Nationals medals so first come, first earned. 

You should treat yourself to the pub when you finish to celebrate!  Long John’s in Silverstar Village has been our host in the past years so drop in for your finisher meal and tell them why you are there.  Next year we hope to have an in-person SnowFun50 where we will all gather at LongJohn’s after the event (and get a free beer!).  But for now, whether you pick LongJohn’s or another eatery, celebrate in the Village regardless!
p.s. The Club is trying to develop more user data using TrailForks so if at all possible, please use TF to record your ski.
